– Opera in Valencian: “Fra Pere el Descalç”
On Saturday, October 19, at 7:30 p.m. at the Virgen del Consuelo de Altea Parish Church, the world premiere of the first opera in Valencia of this century, “Fra Pere el Descalç”, by Francesc Estévez Álvarez, and libretto by Lluis Fornés, “El Sifoner”. The duration of the opera will be around two hours and its premiere coincides with the 437 anniversary of Pare Pere. The capacity for representation is 350 people and localities can be purchased at the Casa de Cultura. The € 10 of the cost of each location will be donated to the Parish as it faces an important reform.

Once again, EcoAltea, the Fair of Sustainable Alternatives, is held on October 12 and 13 in the vicinity of Palau Altea. You can find stands, workshops, presentations and activities, all related to health, agroecology, bio-construction, social awareness, solidarity economies, food sovereignty or education… Accompanied by a festive and playful atmosphere and being a place of meeting, contacts and inspiration.
